As President of SimpliFi, James organizes a team of the most talented people, actively participates in client relationships, and implements new solutions and programs. He’s an analytical entrepreneur, skilled at growing new ventures and stretching the people he works with. James joined SimpliFi in 2017 and has become a national voice on the trends and future trajectory of travel nursing, serving as a subject matter expert on the topic in works published by Bloomberg and the Associated Press. James studied business at Austin College, and prior to SimpliFi, he helped universities reach nursing students via online degree programs. Supporting the mission of nursing education in the US remains a high priority for James as he serves on the National League for Nursing (NLN) Foundation’s Advisory Council. Personally, James enjoys going to wine country with his wife, adventuring around Arkansas with his three kids, and supporting Acts4Rwanda and Young Life.

Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

As Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Laurie nurtures SimpliFi’s operational teams to maximize partner engagement. She leads client strategy sessions that result in enhanced ways for healthcare organizations to maximize their workforce, minimize spend, and enhance the patient experience. Laurie is a devoted leader who challenges her teams to provide exemplary customer service, striving to go above and beyond to accelerate each hospital’s success. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Boston College and is the proud recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Award. Laurie resides in San Francisco with her teenage daughter and enjoys cycling and traveling. She also volunteers as a tutor for elementary students with Reading Partners, an organization that provides learning opportunities to children from diverse backgrounds in the Bay Area.

Bambi Gore, MSN, FNP-BC

Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer

As Chief Clinical Officer, Bambi provides clinical leadership and serves as a clinical subject matter expert, while developing and maintaining partner relationships. Bambi earned her BSN at the Medical University of South Carolina, a MSN from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington, with a board certification in family medicine. Prior to working with SimpliFi, she was a FNP hospitalist and a hospital Chief Nursing Officer. In 2014, she received the honor of SCHA Hospital Executive of the year. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, SC Nurses Association, and the South Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders.

Vice President of Client Strategy

Catharine serves as SimpliFi’s executive point-of-contact to customers nationwide while leading our client relationship teams partnering with those customers. She is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of progressive responsibility and leadership experience in Global Fortune 500 professional services organizations. Catharine studied Communications at Oregon State. In her free time, Catharine enjoys spending time with her family and friends and can be found in her kitchen canning in the summer months. She is known for her dill pickles!

Vice President of Workforce Solutions

Becky leads a team of business development professionals that utilizes multiple measures of input to identify potential new healthcare collaborations. Becky has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has led local, state, and national healthcare employer-based partnerships and has extensive experience in marketing, sales, and management. Becky earned her degree in Business Administration from Baylor University.

Clinical Director

Trey works with SimpliFi’s clinical team as a director. He earned both his BSN and MSN from the University of West Florida. Prior to working at SimpliFi, he worked in various hospital settings, including functioning as a House Supervisor and Patient Care Manager.  He also has experience as a clinical nursing instructor.

Clinical Director

As Clinical Director, Mandy provides support to our clinical team in finding extraordinary clinicians and helps serve our clients by managing contingent staff. Mandy earned her BSN and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Francis Marion University in South Carolina. Prior to working with SimpliFi, she worked as a registered nurse for many years in Women’s Health to include Labor & Delivery, Postpartum/Newborn and Gynecology, as well as Progressive Care settings.

Clinical Director

As Clinical Director, Eanh Ngo works closely with leadership and the clinical team to streamline clinical operations, serving as clinical support and project management. Prior to working with SimpliFi, Eanh worked for many years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at one of the largest children’s hospitals in Texas. She earned her BS in Biology at the University of Texas in Dallas, her BSN from Louise Herrington School of Nursing of Baylor University, and is currently in the progress of completing her MSN.

Director of MSP Operations

As Director of MSP Operations, Christi is focused on new MSP Client Implementations and VMS solutions while leading SimpliFi’s MSP operations team. Christi strategizes with all levels of leadership at each respective health system client to implement a customized workforce program.  Christi functions as a Subject Matter Expert at each implementation phase including, but not limited to:  contracting, client engagement, data gathering and analysis, design, workflow (current and future state), solution validation, and organizational change management.  She is dedicated to maximize efficiencies and drive the most effective outcomes to meet and exceed our clients’ goals. Personally, Christi enjoys spending time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and football season.
