Commonly asked questions

Find answers to common questions about attendance, the application process, and what to expect at RED.

RED is an executive workforce summit that brings senior leaders from nursing, HR, and finance together for focused discussion on healthcare labor strategy.

RED stands for Reflect, Exchange, and Define. It was created to give healthcare leaders a dedicated forum to reflect on lessons learned in clinical labor management, exchange real-world insights with peers, and define forward-looking workforce strategies to guide their organizations.

RED is designed around executive participation, not passive listening. While select guest speakers provide industry perspective, the summit is driven by peer discussion, shared experience, and real-world insight from senior leaders across nursing, HR, and finance.

This is not a “speak-at-you” conference. Attendance is intentionally limited to fewer than 50 executives to foster open dialogue, meaningful exchange, and collaborative problem-solving in a single-room setting. Attendees leave with peer-informed perspectives and practical approaches to guide clinical workforce strategy.

Attendance is intentionally limited to approximately 50 senior health system executives. This curated audience ensures meaningful dialogue, balanced perspectives, and a high-value environment where every participant can actively contribute to the conversation.

RED is a fully hosted, tuition-free summit sponsored by SimpliFi. Approved attendees receive accommodations, meals, and on-site experiences at The Cloister. To maintain a high-value, peer-driven audience, attendance is application-based and all applications are reviewed prior to acceptance. Attendees are responsible only for their travel to and from the venue.

RED2026 WEST will be hosted at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, one of America’s most iconic luxury resorts. The summit begins with a welcome reception on Wednesday evening, September 30th, and continues through 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 2. Attendees will enjoy a fully hosted experience with refined accommodations, curated dining, and resort amenities, creating the perfect environment to step away from daily demands and fully engage with peers.

Yes, guests are welcome to join you at The Broadmoor. Your plus-one can attend the RED2026 welcome reception and dinner, allowing you to share part of the experience in this luxury setting.

A limited number of rooms are available for attendees who wish to stay into the weekend. Meals beyond Friday breakfast and lodging beyond Friday morning are at each guest’s expense.

Attendance is by application only. Due to high demand, your registration is not confirmed until your application is reviewed and accepted. Approved attendees will receive confirmation and travel details. Request your seat for RED2026 WEST here.
